It's draft day in the NFL, and while couch potatoes everywhere are eagerly awaiting what pubescent, snot-nosed under 25-year-old becomes an instant millionaire, the good folks at EA Sports makes their annual announcement of who graces the cover of the vaunted Madden NFL franchise.

For the first time, the fans picked who would have the fortune, or misfortune if you believe in the Madden Curse, of having such an honor. After his MVP performance in Super Bowl XXXIV, New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees was chosen. Not that it was much of a surprise. After raising the spirits of the city of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina with a Super Bowl victory over the favored Indianapolis Colts, the Who Dat Nation came out in droves to vote for their gridiron captain to be the cover boy.

As for the game itself, EA stresses that the key improvement is that of the wide receivers and their actions...
