You may think we at KING only grade videos off the volume of eye candy, but that is absolutely, positively, half-true. Sure the editors care about how many women appear in barely-there clothes, but we can and do look for more than the next potential Candid Camera-worthy lady. Like the Academy, we assess videos with intense scrutiny. So after much debate and discussion, here are the seven videos we passed around, watched, talked about, and then, watched again.

7. Hot Thing
Artist: Talib Kweli
Director: Bernard Gourley

Kweli totally jacks the HP Commercials for this video's concept, but hats off for doing so in a clever way.

6. Umbrella
Artist: Rihanna
Director: Chris Applebaum

The coolest thing about this video was once the song got annoying (and it always did), you could mute it, and still appreciate Rihanna's body paint scenes.

5. Can't Tell Me Nothin' (Zach Galifianakis Version)
Artist: Kanye West
Director: Michael Blieden

The original was hotter, but this version was funnier.

4. Roc Boys (And The Winner Is...)
Artist: Jay-Z
Director: Chris Robinson

Young Samgoma Edwards is a dead ringer for Jay-Z at 15-years-old, and the original 40/40 never looked hotter.

3. Real Talk
Artist: R. Kelly
Director: Unknown, but we're guessing one R. Kelly's homies.

The funniest song of the year had an even hotter video. Real talk.

2. Artist: Snoop Dogg
Song: Sensual Seduction
Director: Melina

Snoop Dogg gives ode to the flamboyant 70's in this Blaxploitation-era parody.

1. International Players Anthem
Artist: UGK feat. OutKast
Director: Bryan Barber

One of the best hip-hop videos of all time is a tad bittersweet with the passing of one it's stars. R.I.P. Chad "Pimp C" Butler
