Some people are born to be wild, but Kent Masters-King was born to be a star. This familiar face has appeared on many sitcoms over the years, including The Parkers, The Steve Harvey Show and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, but she is often better recognized as the leading lady in Jagged Edge's hit video "Let's Get Married” (which Kent assures is the beginning, the middle and the end of her music-video career).Born and bred in the city of angels, King was discovered as an actress when she was a child, tagging along with her mother to acting classes. It wasn't long before the then 12-year-old landed a guest spot on Hill Street Blues, which led to her five-year run as Julie Williams on the popular '80s drama Knots Landing. Recently, the twenty-something King hooked up with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and DJ Pooh for their new motion picture, The Wash, in which she plays Michelle, the smart, sassy, cute coed that catches the eye of Dre's character.
