For a while, Hill Harper was "that guy." That cat you thought you knew from high school but realized you just remembered from a supporting role in some movie like He Got Game. But now, starring on CSI: New York, the Harvard Law graduate is quickly becoming a household name. And with a couple of big-screen roles on tap for later this year (30 Days and The Breed), Harper will continue to keep his name buzzing.

When not filming, Hill is writing: he's just published the amotious, motivational Letters to a Young Brother. Through an exchange of letters between Harper and a fictitious young brother, the book provides life lessons for wayward young men. "When I'd be speaking across the country, a lot of young men would ask me questions about life, so I started compiling them." Harper explains. "Many were of a similar theme, so I decided to write a book answer the most recurring questions."
