Be a Good Sport

Like a weird indie flick or your lady's suspect cooking, sometimes stuff takes time to properly digest. Some things require in-depth attention and a bit of marinating after the fact. Often times, sports are no different. A lot of stuff is obvious –Yeah, Team USA is good. True, Ryan Howard can hit a fastball- but much of baseball, football, soccer and everything else is deeper than box scores and post-game soundbytes. And here is where those things will be addressed.

KING is asking me to populate this blog with prose on the pros and preps a couple of times a week. With all the insanity in the world of sports, that sounds doable. But I'm gonna need your help, your creative input, to make it all worthwhile. So, to my homies out west, let me know if I slip with my coverage on the Oakland Raiders. And to cats in D.C., get at me if you like what I say about the Georgetown Hoyas. It doesn't matter. Just reach out. Consider this our lil' spot to talk hoops, movies, politics, whatever.
