bigboijersey_spend.jpgOutKast fans know, when it comes to one-of-a-kind sport jerseys and historically black colleges and universities, Big Boi can't get enough ("Morris Brown” anyone?), which is why his latest project only makes sense. In celebration of the Thanksgiving Day Bayou Classic, a longstanding football rivalry between HBCU's Grambling State University and Southern University, Big Boi has partnered up with Russell Athletic to design jerseys for both teams. The jerseys are the first project in what is to be a long-standing partnership between Big Boi and Russell Athletic in support of HBCU schools. Each jersey is emblazoned with Big Boi's signature. While only Grambling will wear the Big Boi-designed jersey on game day (November 25), jerseys for both teams will be on display at the Bayou Classic which will be making it's return to the Louisiana Superdome after last year's game was forced to relocate due to Hurricane Katrina. The game will also air nationwide on NBC. The jerseys will also be available for purchase starting Tuesday November 21 on Russell Athletic's e-commerce website, www.buyhbcu.com. Chuuch!
