When he was 10, Haitian locals thought cyclist Faustin Remy was riding with a loose chain. "My mother gave me a little bike at 10. Everybody [around town] started saying, 'Oh this guy is crazy'," says Remy. "I would go 150 or 200 kilometers. I'd just get crazy."
As a result of his insane drive, Remy was selected to represent Haitin in the '08 Summer Games. Though the Miami resident, 26, hasn't won any events in the U.S., he has garnered more than 200 victories in Caribbean cycling events and finished third in the France Race for World Peace. But let's backpedal.
