KING’s 50th Celebration
The job of keeping a brand relevant issue after issue is tough. KING's 50th issue was an especially ambitious undertaking, and I'm proud of the outcome. Naturally, we needed a party to match the issue's swag. The magazine's 50th celebration did just that. Past and present industry tastemakers, celebs and beautiful women celebrated while swiggin' Nuvo and two-stepping, house party style (and you know industry folks don't dance). My highlights: Dawn Richard sang a heartfelt anniversary song, and Busta and Ron Browz torched the stage with "Arab Money.†I want to thank John Singleton, DJ Drama, Maino, Fabolous, Alesha Renee and our best-selling cover model, Free, for celebrating KING's big 5-0.
Rock with us for the next 50, y'all.
