Hawaii Bowl

Arizona State vs. Hawaii

December 24, 8PM, Honolulu

Two words: Colt Brennan. Okay, two more: Get familiar. If you don't know the name, shame on you and your local paper for not recognizing the record-shattering Hawaii QB sooner. On the back end of what arguably might be the most underrated college football season ever, Brennan (4,990 passing yards, 53 TDs and a 72% pass completion mark) leads his Rainbow Warriors (10-3) into Aloha Stadium, making scoreboard-working Hawaii one of only two teams playing a bowl in its home venue (New Mexico, who's in the New Mexico Bowl, is the other). So, it goes without saying that the Arizona State Sun Devils have a lot working against them in this season-ender to a ho-hum 7-5 year. But even after Colt and Co. unleash offensive fury in a 38-17 thumping, all isn't lost for ASU. New coach Dennis Erickson takes over next season.

Interesting Fact: The Hawaii Warriors averaged nearly 55 points in their final 8 games of the season.
