Remy Ma Sentenced
A day after her attempted jailhouse marriage to Papoose fell through, Remy Ma was sentenced to eight years behind bars for attempted murder. The charges stem from an incident in which Remy shot her best friend, Makeda Barnes-Joseph, outside of a New York nightclub for allegedly stealing $3,000 from her purse. Ma claims the shooting was an accident. According to reports, Papoose began screaming at the court house after the sentencing, yelling, "All you want is money! Lock me up! Lock me up!â€
