Throwback Thursday: Lauren London Dives into the June 2006 Issue of KING Magazine
We're taking a little step into the recent past today and checking out when the incomparable Lauren London graced the cover of the June 2006 issue of KING Magazine.
Lauren wears many hats and is known as an actress, hip hop model and TV personality. In this particular issue of KING, the spotlight was on her for having starred in the film ATL as Erin "New New" Garnett. Since then, she's made several television appearances and has acted in more films on an almost-yearly basis. Since ATL, she's starred in film like This Christmas, Next Day Air, Good Hair, Madea's Big Happy Family, Baggage Claim and I Love You, Beth Cooper.
Before her big break came in 2006, on an episode of Everybody Hates Chris, she appeared in music videos for artists like Tyrese, Ludacris and Pharrell. After her first television appearance was when she started getting more gigs for film and TV, eventually ending up in shows like Entourage, 90210, Single Ladies and even an appearance on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
She currently stars on the TV show, The Game, playing the character of Kiera Whitaker, a former child star who starred in a fictional family sitcom called Stuck Together. It definitely doesn't look like she'll be going anywhere soon, which is great for us, because we're looking forward to seeing a lot more of her.
